Museo de La Salle

Museo de La Salle is a museum located inside De La Salle University- Dasmarinas in Dasmarinas, Cavite, Philippines.

The museum is a replica of an actual house but it is actually three times larger than it's original counterpart for museum purposes.

The museum gives us insight on how the wealthy people in the Philippines, back in the day, lived. On what their rituals are (like how they courted young women, how people get married, etc.), what the people do in their house and what was their place in the house, how they define their wealth, and how they treat their servants.

This museum gives us a tour on the house. They show us the rooms, gives us information about each room and the things included in the rooms, and also shows us the exterior of the house like their garden.

There are also a lot of donors that give relics to the museum. One room was even full of things that were given by one donor, The Guevarra Family.

Museo de La Salle is one of a kind for its uniqueness in its design. Even I have never seen a museum quite like it. A museum that was built like a house and seen like a house. If you want to see something unique, experience something different, and learn about the history and culture of these early Filipinos then this is the place to go.
